Are Mirrors Really Good for Small Spaces?
Mirrors are often praised as the go-to trick for making small rooms feel bigger. They reflect light, add depth, and can double as stylish décor. A well-placed mirror opposite a window can instantly brighten and expand a space.
But mirrors aren’t always foolproof. Too many reflections can create visual clutter, and in tiny rooms they may highlight mess rather than hide it. Plus, they don’t solve the problem of limited square footage, a cramped layout stays cramped no matter how many mirrors you add.
The key is balance: one large mirror is often better than several small ones, and placement opposite natural light works best.
So, what do you think, are mirrors a must-have in small spaces, or an overhyped design trick?
