An outdoor bathtub.
Have you ever though that having a tub in the yard could be a nice idea? You don’t necessarily have to use it for bathing, since privacy can be an issue. The tub can simply be decorative. Fill it with water and sprinkle petals or use it as a planter. If you have a big fence or if privacy is not an issue, you can also have a hot tub in the yard or in the garden.
A geometric pathway
Play with geometric forms and give your pathway a refreshingly simple look. Such a design is suitable for modern residences, although this is a versatile style. There are numerous options you can explore and geometric designs can also be used in lots of interesting ways outdoors.
Decorate the fence with plants.
In order to truly enjoy nature and beauty, you have to surround yourself with things like fresh plants, trees and greenery in general. You don’t necessarily need a garden in order to do that. You can decorate the fences with plants or even with trees.
A cool outdoor shower.
In the summer, when the sun in up in the sky, a nice shower is often all you need to make your day perfect. You can install an outdoor shower in your garden, in the back yard or anywhere else you find suitable. You can even make this yourself, it’s that simple. Fasten a large shower head to a long hose and then on a big tree branch. Turn on the tap and enjoy.
I’ve always found gazebos charming and I would really love to have one in my garden. If you share this wish then find a way to include such a feature in your garden or yard. It’s doesn’t necessarily have to be a gazebo. The very idea of having a secret seating area around there is wonderful.
Throwing a party? How about a DIY cooler?

A simple bar would also be useful
An outdoor bar, no matter how big, is a wonderful feature. It’s great for parties, entertaining guests and also great to have just for your personal use. This one is simple and compact. Mounted on the wall, it has shelves for the bottles and glasses and a nice little prep space.
A swing bench.
I still remember the swing my grandpa used to have in the garden. It’s one of those rustic features that added charm to the place. You can use them too. You can combine rustic of classical designs with modern elements and create a beautiful décor. For example, consider Adirondack Chairs. On a patio, you could install a swing bench.
A teepee for the kids.
Kids love to play in the yard and love camping. Le them have fun and install a teepee outside for them to play with. Make sure they also have a warm blanket to put on the ground and a cozy pillow in case they want to take a nap.
There are lots of fun games you can play outdoors. We’ve enumerated 10 of them here so feel free to take a look for some inspiration. Depending on how much space you’re willing to use for such a project, you could try making your own Twister game or maybe something else you like.
Chalkboard surfaces, especially those in outdoor spaces, can serve a dual purpose. They’re both decorative and functional. For example, an outdoor chalkboard wall can be fun for the kids or you can use it to create a beautiful display for the yard.
