Tres Encinas restaurant in Spain Gets Re-designed

Tres Encinas has a history of over forty years of serving people in Madrid with tasty seafood. However, the present owners thought it was time to make some changes since we entered a new century and millennium and hired a Turkish design firm to do the necessary adjustments. Well, these guys did a great job with the re-designing because they tried to keep the old air and general atmosphere of the restaurant , but also added some new touch of modernism and contemporaneity.

They maintained the local tradition of craft and work, so they used hand – crafted metals and wood to change the image. This gave the restaurant a hint of Art Nouveau and it is a delight to see how metal lines connect the ceiling with the repetitive tiles on the floor in a grey and intricate network. All the decorations on the walls and on the floor suggest sea life and marine creatures, keeping the specific of the restaurant alive and giving it new shapes and forms of expression.

The restaurant has now two main dining rooms, a private dining area, and a bar where they light up the white wines that go perfectly with the food served there. Autoban did a great job here, keeping a bit of the old and combining it with a bit of the new for a stunning result.
