I love my kids very much but I simply hate the disaster they leave behind after they play with the toys. And I am sure I speak for all the parents with small children. And, of course, we have learned the hard way that they won’t do something unless they enjoy it. So it’s useless to punish them for not gathering their toys in the box or on the shelf because they simply hate it. And they do because it’s something they MUST do and it’s no fun in it. So why don’t we, parents, outsmart them and turn this into a pleasant activity? The easiest way to do this is by purchasing a fun toy box and after that telling your kids they can use the box when playing and it will be fun.
I found many amazing models of toy boxes on Posh Tots and this online shop is great, as you can find toy boxes that look like a fire station, a toy store, a treasure box (for boys) or a princess closet, zoo, animal painted boxes (for the girls). So be the first one to use this box and your children will love it. So bring the treasure box in and tell them: “Today we are pirates. Let’s find all the treasures hidden in this room and put them in, then bury them!” and they will gather all the little toys by themselves, enjoying every moment. As for the girls, they will certainly enjoy having all the dresses placed in order in a princess chest or closet. Problem solved, right?
