The Tiny Project – An Inspiring House On Wheels

The Tiny Project has a name that describes it perfectly. It’s a tiny house which measures 8 feet by 20 feet and it’s a very interesting thing to analyze.Recently completed by web designer Alek Lisefski, the Tiny Project was entirely his creation.He designed the house and built it himself on the weekends.

You might wonder what makes this project so special. Well, this house may be tiny but it has everything one needs. It’s a mobile home as well so you can take it with you when you go on vacation. Its owner just moved it from Iowa to California.

But let’s talk a little more about the design and construction process. The house has a modern design and, even though it’s small, it has 10 windows and glass doors so there’s plenty of natural light inside.

It has a small kitchen with stainless steel appliances such as a marine-style propane range, a propane hot-water heater, a washer and dryer, a refrigerator and freezer. Besides being ingeniously designed, this tiny house is also sustainable. It’s well-insulated throughout and it has a smart and space-saving design.

But there’s more: solar panels, a water collection system and lots of other things meant to make it as self-sustaining as possible. It was a very economic project and a very inspiring one too. It’s wonderful to have something like this and to be able to use it whenever you want.
