In a home, studio, office or anywhere else, it’s all about space and how you can take full advantage of it. The space that’s available has to meet a person’s needs and requirements. But sometimes there’s just not enough space to have all the rooms you need. It’s why room dividers are so great. They allow you to think of the space you have as a flexible environment that could change function and structure without much effort.

For example, you could install a room divider into the living room and create a semi-private working area/home office. It wouldn’t be a separate room but it would be a somewhat private space that would provide you with an environment suitable for concentration. Similarly, you could divide an open plan into separate areas. You could have a living room and a dining room that can either be treated as distinct areas or as a whole if you remove the room divider. We have selected a series of 20 diverse designs for you to take a look at and to maybe even use as inspiration for your own home.
