The original Fabrica Creaton restaurant design in Greece

There are lots of restaurants all over the world so it gets more and more difficult to come up with a new theme. However, we think this particular restaurant doesn’t have to worry about that. This is Fabrica Creaton, a restaurant themed around meat. Yes, it sounds odd but it’s true. The modern tavern was a creation of Minas Kosmidis and it’s located in Komotini (Andrianoupoleos 4), Northern Greece. At first sight, it seems like a very simple place. With a black and white color palette, the restaurant doesn’t impress with the looks but with little details.

The entire restaurant is centered around meat. It’s an unusual idea but it’s also very original. After all, it seems logical to at least venerate the animals that we eat.The restaurant is a two-storey high building. It has gray tile floors and white ceramic tiled walls. It also features bold black bands in the corners and on the ceilings that seems to frame the whole place. The restaurant also has exposed beams in the ceilings that add extra warmth and cozyness to this place.

The interior design borrows its inspiration from the late 1950s while also featuring modern touches here and there. The materials used are simple and include tiles, glass, metals and wood. The pendant light fixtures are reminders of the Greek tradition. Not all light fixtures are visible to the eye. The restaurant is bright and warm thanks to staggered down-lights span the ceramic tiled wall accenting artwork and the subtle texture created in the mounted tiles. In order to create some visual contrast, red seat cushions and industrial fixtures have been strategically integrated into the design.{found on yatzer and pics by Studio VD}.
