The New eMag Interior Design Office

Swan Office & Technology Park is a new, green building from Pipera, just near Bucharest, Romania, also home for eMag , a  romanian company that sells over the internet cumputing and office equipment.That building has recently been rated  “very good”  by BREEAM.What is BREEAM?It is the world’s most faremost environmental assessment method and rating system for sustainable buildings.

This only means one thing: that this type of construction has less negative impact on the environment that a regullar one.It has recicled materials  in it, it is designed to maximize the use of  natural lighting, not to waste energy on heating and cooling, but to do it efficiently.

Bright colours on the walls in great combination are creating a better working place for allmost 200 employees.Let’s not forget that this is still an office building and beside the green aspect it also has to be functional.It has to provide big spaces where people can move freely from one place to another, from one working station to another and it has to support  all the equipment needed to perform its activity.

In addition to that they also created a place with foosball and  ping-pong tables with Nintendo Wii consoles for the people working there, it has also a room where they test new technologies.We praise the initiative and let’s hope that many will follow them, creating and using beautiful buildings for offices of even factories , but also take care of the nature, so  the future generations can   see it, as we see it today.{found on wallstreet}
