The Island Kitchen Offers You Everything You Need In A Compact And Smart Design
The biggest problem in a kitchen would have to be the lack of space. There’s nothing more uninviting than a tiny kitchen where you have no room to move around. So to solve that problem we usually have to make compromises. However, there is now one other way. You can save tons of pace with the new Island Kitchen.
Designed by Massimo Facchinetti for CLEI, this tower has all the appliances and features needed in a kitchen, all fitted in a compact structure with a simple and functional design. This is a single module kitchen designed for sustainable cooking.
It features energy-saving systems and the electrical features are powered by the energy produced by solar panels. The unit features a small vertical garden on one side where you can grow your own plants to use in the kitchen.
The water from the sink is filtered and then reused in the dishwasher. After that, it’s filtered again and used to water the plants in the vertical garden. The design is very simple and smart. A retractable tap disappears into the sink when not used.
The tower also features a large refrigerator, an integrated cooking system, systems for rinsing and washing and a rotating hood. It’s a very smart piece that takes maximum advantage of the vertical space in the kitchen. This compact unit also has a microwave and vent hood which are available on demand. There’s also plenty of integrated storage space on the lower part.
