The Impressive ORL Clinic Interior Design

Nobody likes to go visit the doctor. Whenever you have to do that it usually ends with some bad news or at least with some unpleasant time spent in his exam room. It was a project by Mal-Vi Architects with some help from Glights for the lighting and Vitaverde for the green space design and it was just completed in 2011. The clinic was designed for a newly arrived surgeon who requested a truly memorable office space. He wanted his new office to have nothing in common with the usual image that such spaces project.

The medic’s office and the exam room and two distinct spaces that are also separated from the reception and the waiting room. For that, a flexible partition has been designed. The partition includes the reception desk and the exam room entrance and it has a wavy shape similar to an acoustic shape that’s a reminder of the practitioner’s field of specialty.

Several walls have been covered with wooden sculptural surfaces that were created using medium-density fiberboards (MDF). It’s an innovative space and I’m sure the visitors agree it’s much more pleasant than the regular doctor’s studio.{found on archdaily}
