The Harmonious KOOK Restaurant Where Everything Is In Perfect Sync

Rome is a city known for its history, architecture and also for the extraordinary culinary experiences you can have when you’re visiting it. In 2012 the array of options in this domain enlarged and got to accommodate one more unique restaurant. The KOOK Restaurant was designed and built by Noses Architects and it was a project for an eating house.

Located in Rome, Italy, the restaurant is meant to enhance the perception of the senses without making it obvious. The architects used a range of materials such as concrete and wood which contrast with each other but also complement each other. The cold concrete provides the perfect background for the warm wood features to showcase their elegance and charm. The restaurant also features custom furnishing and a very nice mix of old and new elements.

The relationship between innovation and tradition is quite strange here. On one hand we have a restaurant that serves old recipes and specialties while on the other hand we have an interior décor also based on visually striking details such as the glass-encased tree that has become a focal point there.

Despite all these contrasting elements and influences, the first thing that comes to your mind when you visit this place is harmony. The refined combinations of styles and the various materials all work together wonderfully.
