For that this particular armchair is perfect. The PP225 Flag Halyard Chair is a very comfortable and very chic piece of furniture. The Flag Halyard Chair was designed by Hans J. Wegner back in 1950. It looks much more modern than it actually is. It’s always surprising when old designs are brought into our attention and seem so modern and contemporary. This one-of-a-kind armchair is made of solid stainless steel and it features a 240 meters specially developed flag line and a long-haired sheep skin.

It seems like a futuristic design but the creator of this unique chair had the idea for it on a hot summer afternoon and it was a spontaneous revelation. The shape and the main idea for the chair have been planned then and later after the actual chair was created. It’s one of those stories that you see in movies or read in books but this time it’s actually true.
