The Fabbrica Restaurant in Bergen

This is Restaurant Fabricca, an unusual structure located in Bergen, the second largest city in Norway. The restaurant is very cozy and, even though the interior is unusual and not the traditional typical décor, it’s still elegant and stylish but in a different way.

The elevated dining pods of the restaurant are very cozy and especially inviting, offering a unique dining experience to anyone who enters. The second you enter the restaurant you get a strange feeling that takes you back in time. There’s a huge amount of wood involved in this project. Notice the walls that are covered with tree stumps. The furniture is also made of wood and this contributes to the cozy atmosphere inside.

The restaurant features tall ceilings and lots of windows but only on the façade. The interior is rather intimate, despite the dimensions. It’s decorated with delicate chandeliers and glass stemware designed by Tjep Studio, an Amsterdam-based architecture and design firm.

There’s also a large pizza oven decorated with Bisazza tile mosaic and geometrical industrial containers sit near the oven holding the wood. It might not be a very sophisticated restaurant but its this unpolished beauty that makes it unique. It’s simple and authentic. It’s also a very inviting and cozy place where gusts can feel comfortable while enjoying their favorite food.
