The colorful “Sunshine Cascadia” room
After presenting you several other room decor options, we’re back with another idea. This time we’re going to take a look at Brittney’s colorful room. She named it “Sunshine Cascadia” which is a cute and inspired name that reflects the brightness and dynamism of this room.
The residence that this room is part of is located somewhere in Seattle, Washington. Since the atmosphere there is gray and sad most of the year, Britney wanted this room to be a sort of happy retreat. So she used vibrant and bright colors to create a friendly and dynamic atmosphere. The contrast between inside and outside is pretty powerful.
What’s actually interesting is that the colors used are those found in Seattle’s natural environment. Britney used for her room tones of apple green, gray and white. Still, it’s a significant difference because they’re not usually seen together and the gray usually wins.
The room is quite small but friendly and cozy. The green walls and really vibrant and they’re just the pop of color that room needed. The contrast between the green walls and the white ceiling and window frame is very visible and striking.
