A Stylish Office Design in Bangkok Is A Second Home To Its Large Employee Family
Earlier this year the amazing Boon Rawd Brewery Headquarters was completed. It’s located in Bangkok, Thailand and it was designed by studio pbm. The 5500 square meter space is structured into several large areas that serve distinct functions.
These spaces can also easily interact with one another and even connect on certain levels. A 7 meter high area links a lot of the main zones. It serves as a connector between the main lobby and the meeting rooms as well as between the main hall and a large shared workspace. It’s also the link between the main meeting area and the waiting room where guests are initially welcomed and it also leads to the mezzanine area.
All of these areas we mentioned earlier share in common a simple but luxurious and sophisticated design. The idea was to create a minimal aesthetic but at the same time to include lots of details in order to create a sense of scale and grandeur but also to allow the spaces to look and to feel welcoming. For some of the areas in particular a warm and almost residential design approach was taken. There are spaces such as a large dining room which can seat up to 22 people and a 40 seat meeting room where everyone can come together and spend time as a large family. Considering all of these elements combined, this clearly becomes more than just an office.
