The lack of space in apartments has stopped being a problem for quite some time. There are lots of different ways in which you can make a small space feel larger and in which you can redirect the focus from the size of the space to the beauty with which it has been decorated. But let’s take an actual example and analyze it more closely.
This apartment can be found in Odessa, Ukraine. It’s a studio and its dimensions are limited but this doesn’t make it seem less spacious. In fact, size doesn’t represent a problem. The apartment feels very cozy but it’s also quite simple. To avoid making the rooms seem tiny, the décor is designed to be minimalist and functional but without neglecting style and the wow factor.
The overall look is very simple and the lack of unnecessary elements makes the room feel very airy and spacious. The living space has white furniture that matches the walls and a brown sofa that adds warmth to the room and gives it an earthy and elegant feel.
The wooden floor further enhances this element. The wall that separates the living room from the entrance hallway has an interesting vertical bookcase with slots for books and other slim items. The transparent coffee tables and the mirrors make the space seem even larger.
