A Spanish-Style Home With An Amazing Staircase

With all the contemporary houses that feature these minimalistic, almost austere designs it’s actually refreshing to come across one of the most beautiful mediterranean-style homes out there. This Spanish coastal style home is a project created by studio Tomaro Design Group in collaboration with Norman Design Group and is located in Los Angeles, California. It’s a four-bedroom home with a warm and sophisticated appearance, arched windows, vaulted ceilings and lots of quirky decor features.

Inside, the house instantly makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The social areas are designed for entertaining, with a large wooden island in the kitchen, a big round table in the dining room and a covered and spacious outdoor living area with a fireplace and a TV. There’s also a study with a desk at the center of the room, elegant built-in modules and access to a balcony with a wonderful view of the surroundings. The staircase is a major design element, featuring a beautiful ribbon-inspired form and being decorated with lots of Spanish cement tiles in all sorts of different colors and patterns. Similar bursts of colors are featured throughout the house in various forms.
