Spacious Home in Hong Kong by Peter Ho

In the crowded cities everybody is eager to get more space, especially for his or her home. Although you may admire the high buildings, you may like the city agitation, home is a place which is meant to make you forget about the disadvantages produced by these crowded areas which remain so attractive for many people. Hong Kong is one of these cities where those who are the owners of a spacious house are very lucky.

Here, more precisely, in Yuen Long, New Territories, in the Vineyard area there is such a spacious home owned by a couple and their two sons. It is a modern house where white, grey and black nuances seem to dominate all the spaces. Peter Ho is the interior designer who took care of all the arrangements of this house which covers a surface of 3,458 square feet. Each item used for all the interiors was meant to bring more space and light.

The spacious living room has floor to ceiling drapes, a modern fireplace and an elegant white and black sofa where some blue pillows bring a little bit of more color. The focal point of this area is represented by the wall-to-wall shelving unit which has an interesting design which makes you think of a puzzle or a labyrinth. It was used to link the living area, dining area and the open kitchen while the interior stairs increase the idea of more space.Outdoor, a raised platform was used for the outdoor modern funiture which offers a comfortable and relaxing space for all the family.

In the open kitchen most of the appliances are flush-mounted so that more space is saved. The bedside lanterns in the master bedroom create the peaceful ambiance and a soft light which are perfect for such a space.
