Located in Via delle Orfane, Turin, in Italy, this apartment was designed by CON3STUDIO. It covers an area of 110 square meters and this makes it spacious. Usually, there’s no need for such apartments to have a multi-level layout. However, this one doesn’t fit the usual pattern.

The apartment has an overall open and airy interior. The different functions within it are separated either by sliding walls, partial walls or arched structures. One of the most interesting things about the layout is the fact that there’s a suspended area vey similar to a balcony overlooking the living area. It’s a small space where one can relax, read a book or drink a cup of coffee while being in touch with everything happening in the living room.

The sleeping area is cozy and intimate even though it opens onto what seems to be a hallway or a lounge space. I guess the two spaces form a single area. Above this sleeping cove there’s another suspended area accessible via a ladder. The kitchen area includes a dining space and it’s also designed to be airy and practical. As you can see, this is apartment it’s defined by simplicity, functionality and accessibility. The décor is friendly and soothing, with beautiful but simple colors and an interesting array of textures.
