Whenever you’re using an app or program such as Skype for example, have you ever wondered how the place where it’s been created looks like? If you did, then you probably imagined something colorful and fun, just like the app itself. Well, you would be right. These are the Skype Offices from Palo Alto. This space was designed by Blitz and it covers a total area of 54,000 square feet.
Here you can find 250 employees working in this friendly space. The Skype offices have an overall very modern and also very user-friendly design. It’s a wonderful reflection of the innovative and creative spirit that dominates this place. The main idea behind this project was to create a modern work environment where employees could interact and be able to use their resources to a maximum. It’s basically the same principle in all big headquarters such as Google and Tweeter.
You can see that the whole space is very user-friendly. The meeting rooms are simple but they also have touches of color. They also have glass doors and walls separating them from the rest of the space so there are no big secrets here. The Skype offices also feature a series of recreation areas. There’s a nice sitting area and several relaxation spots with green rugs that mimic grass and rock-shaped stools and wooden benches.
