The Brucke 49, represented by the White Line Hotel Group, is one of the best examples of “Swiss design in Vals, a ski town in Switzerland. The owners, Thomas and Ruth Schacht, wanted to follow the pattern of cozy bed & breakfast, under the sign of simplicity, which was so important that it had to be manifested within the entire space of their hotel. Everything is fabulous in the simplicity of things, everything is perfect, combined with nature and everything elseSwitzerlandhas to offer.
There is the unique impression of “World Heritage nature all around and this feeling offers more than words could express. The initial intention of the owners was to create a home away from home, in an atmosphere of excellent design. The outside is deep grey blue with white shutters, white Brucke 49 graphics being painted onto the facade, as if it intends to share with the viewer a secret that exists beyond the appearance.
The interiors provide solid wood flooring, white paneled walls, handmade furniture, potted plants and unique artwork. Among the most impressive aspects, there are the handmade pieces of furniture, every object having a lasting quality and solid materials. You can even buy great pieces of furniture from there and even the porcelain on the shelves is hand-painted. Everything seems to exist in order to obey two rules: of simplicity and lasting in time.
