Rustically renovated farmhouse by Jorge Moser
This lovely Catalan farmhouse has been beautifully renovated by architect Jorge Moser. The farmhouse is located very close to the beach so a relaxing and calm design was imminent. The renovation was focused on both the interior and the exterior of the house. The property also includes beautiful gardens and a pool.
The farmhouse is filled with natural light. As expected, the interior is calm, rustic and very inviting, just how a farmhouse should be. With the beach just five minutes away, the architect used that as an inspiration. Also, the renovation was only meant to update the house and not completely change the way the property looks like. The farmhouse has two levels. The architect decided to preserve the structure and simply restore the beams and the other original features.
This way the original charm and the essence of the house are preserved but at the same time everything is updated. The farmhouse has become more modern but it still has a rustic feel and a very inviting and cozy interior. The house has large windows and doors so that the light can get through.
They also provide beautiful and expansive views over the surrounding area. The walls are painted with a vanilla shade throughout the house. The floors have a terracotta finish and the combination of these two tones is harmonious and warm. Overall, the farmhouse got a fresh new look but is still reminiscent of the old design and structure.{found on micasarevista}.
