Renovated house in blue tones with views of the Mediterranean

This is another beautifully restored house. This time it’s a house with views of the Mediterranean sea. The residence was renovated by Lazaro Rosa full-Violán of Contemporain Studio. Since it’s a renovation and not a complete restructuring, most of the original elements were preserved. The house simply got a makeover and it became more modern.

Still, not even in this case the architects didn’t use new materials. In order to avoid creating a contrast and to preserve the original charm and the character of the house, the architect decided to use recycled furniture for the interior. The renovation was also carefully conducted. It was meant to update the house while also taking full advantage of the views over the Mediterranean Sea. The blue sea and the bright light were also the inspiration points for this renovation.

There are tones of white and blue visible on the striped sofas and the windows are reminiscent o the sea as well, with their navy paint and rustic look. Moreover, some of the furniture from here is recycled and was once found on ships. The living room and the kitchen are situated on the ground floor and they are mostly decorated with white and blue. The bedroom and bathroom are on the upper floor when they benefit from privacy and beautiful views.{found on micasarevista}.
