Newly Refurbished Small Apartment In Paris Gets New Interior
Originally, this was a one-bedroom flat with a not so great internal layout. Location-wise this apartment can be found in a picturesque district of Paris, in France. This year the whole place got renovated. It was a project completed by studio JCPDR Architecture and it involved making a few structural changes in addition to giving the place a new aesthetic. The most important change was the addition of a second bedroom and a walk-in closet at the request of the apartment’s new owner.
Another problem that this place had was the fact that the windows were only positioned at the ends, leaving the center of the apartment dark and narrow. After the refurbishment that changed completely. The living spaces are now positioned around the windows and the center contains the circulation areas and also receives sufficient natural light thanks to the new design. Although new partitions were added in order to create the extra bedroom, new openings were also added, allowing the light to reach every corner of the apartment.
