Raymond Nelson Pink Swirl Vase

Some things are made only with the purpose of being used for a specific purpose – for example pots and forks, dinnerware and cutlery, tugs and glasses, etc. But some things are made only for the sake of beauty, for being used as decorations, for bringing a drop of beauty and style to the place. These are home accessories and many of them are made by hand by real artists who are more or less well-known. Any way, I am showing you this gorgeous Raymond Nelson Pink Swirl Vase, even though I am not a huge fan of pink.

As you can see from the photo, the vase is made of glass and has a very interesting design, similar in a way to seashells, except for the colour, of course. The vase is designed by Raymond Nelson who reminds you of George Nelson, the famous designer who had its peak of fame back in the 1960s. I do not know if there is any connection between the two, but I do like this vase. It is delicate and beautiful, swirl around with an interesting pattern of white spots against the pinkish background. The item is contemporary in style and can be bought for about $220. You can use it for embellishing your home or, why not, the interior of a hotel room.
