Parisian Dream Loft Interior Design

Most people wouldn’t want to live in a loft because of the various reasons ,we all know. But, in the suburbs of Paris a couple  decided to leave the city centre for the dreary suburbs of Bagnolet  where they  have found the home of their dreams.  The interior was designed from scratch  with the help of  architect Isabelle Rouyer who used Le Corbusioer’s  “Moldulor” to calculate the perfect proportions.

The main idea was to feel cozy even in an open space. To achieve this they have placed the kitchen at the centre of the apartment so it can be accessible from different  angles. Above the kitchen, at the superior level  sits the bathroom. So the interior could receive as many natural light as it can gets designer created windows wall to wall using also the full height of the building, managing to install over 30 square meters of glass paneling.

In the summer time the windows at the lower lever slide open to their full 6 meter length allowing you to step into the neat 60 square meters garden. Upstairs the bedrooms are also equipped with large glass panels including a children’s room. The whole mezzanine is build on massive steel beams, welded together  by traditional craftsmen and assembled on the site. The materials used  at the construction are brand new excepting the brickwork, so the general style of the design is easy to guess.{found on yatzer and pics by Persona production }
