Modern one-bedroom, 1-bath condo in Downtown Phoenix

This apartment belongs to Mich Lyon who wanted a typical big city home that would also showcase the Phoenix skyline and desert. The solution for that was this small but beautiful 1-bedroom apartment in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona. The apartment was a classic that has never been renovated. The new owner decided to remodel the place, a process that took 1.5 years.

The condo is situated on the 19th floor in 22 level building that dates back to 1964. It was originally a two-bedroom apartment. However, after the remodel, it was turned into a large 1-bedroom bachelor pad. The renovation was drastic and complete. The condo got glazed ceramic tile flooring, a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and concrete countertops, large sliding doors and lots of custom cabinetry where the owner displayed his collection of antique German TV towers, Metlox Poppytrail dishware and bronze statues and trophies.

The apartment also offers great views, a very important element that contributed to the purchase. It’s also very spacious, now that it has been remodeled and offers plenty of space for the owner’s collections. The renovation was a project by Daniel Saari, Office of Desert Architecture. The furniture comes from Craig’s List, IKEA, and Louis Vuitton and the artwork from James Angel, Brent Bond and Brian Kappel. The transformation was spectacular.{found on apartmenttherapy}
