Completed in 2015, this outstanding residence was designed and built by Paz Gersh Architects and is located in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. It offers a total of 450 square meters of living space. The residence is L-shaped around a pool, with a concrete construction and aluminum window frames.

The ground floor has an open floor plan, with the kitchen, dining space, library and living area organized around the pool area. The house was designed for a family with children and one of the requests was to give it an overall fluid structure.

Another goal was to create a strong connection between the indoor and outdoor areas. The living area has glass walls and sliding doors which connect it to the pool area. The sectional sofa and a set of two Theo armchairs are organized around the small Surface coffee table duo. A Taccia table lamp was casually placed on the floor, to fill the void across from the sofa. Two stylish Air ceiling fans with wooden blades complement the seating area as a whole.

The rest of the open plan is occupied by the kitchen and the dining spaces. These too open onto the pool area through sliding glass doors. The kitchen island offers a wooden table extension outfitted with the classic DSR chairs by Charles and Ray Eames.

The library is also part of the ground floor open floor plan. It’s composed of a modern wall bookcase and a violet Landscape lounge chair complemented by a set of Fat Fat nesting coffee tables.

The pendant hanging at different heights and the staircase offer this area a sculptural look and a sophisticated allure.

The spacious master bedroom is on the upper level. It features floor-to-wining windows with wooden louvers and an overall simple and relaxing décor with a color palette based on whites and natural wood tones. The other bedrooms are situated on the ground floor and they have a private courtyard.

The beautiful connection with nature is maintained throughout the residence. In the bathroom, for example, it’s showcased through the use of natural materials and the presence of a large potted plant in the corner. An elegant Swim-C tub occupies a portion of the floor space while the vanity is wall-mounted to allow the room to feel more spacious.

The house was designed with three Mediterranean garden types. One of them is the roof garden which can be admired from the master suite. Up here, steel containers hold the green area and become part of the design.
