Most apartments in Sweden feature an eclectic style. There’s usually a combination of rustic and modern elements. It’s a very charming mix and it’s always captured in a unique way in each and every home. This particular apartment can be found in Stockholm, in a place known as Karlavagen 59. It’s a king size apartment with an interior design by Olle Rex.
The apartment is quite spacious and all the rooms are large and airy. There are four bedrooms in total as well as a big living room, a large kitchen, a dining area and a big balcony. The furniture is chic, simple and modern throughout. The kitchen is especially good-looking, with those white cabinets that cover an entire wall and the black and white contrast with the countertop. The kitchen is big enough to also accommodate the dining area which comprises a big rectangular table and can sit up to 8 people. Even the bathrooms are spacious, making this a wonderful family home.
Accent features such as the fireplace in the living room bring out the history of the place. Yet the transition between styles is actually smooth. The fireplace doesn’t go all the way up to the ceiling like the traditional types, usually placed in the corner. Other interesting and eye-catching features are the beautiful paintings which decorate the walls of the living room and hallway.
