Minimalistic House In Poland With Recessed Windows And A Perfect Lawn

Being able to find a fairly large and flat piece of land to build on was the first major success of this project. After that came the beautiful and modern design of the house created by architecture studio RS+ Robert Skitek. They managed to bring their vision to life in 2018 when they completed this gorgeous residence. In total the house offers 485 square meters of living space divided on two floors.

The house is located in the Strzelce Opolskie region of Poland which at that time was still quite undeveloped but has grown significantly since. The site, as mentioned before, is almost perfectly flat which suits the overall minimalistic and sculptural aesthetic of the house. From a structural point of view the building is a collection of white and rectangular boxes. These overlap and intersect one another giving the house an interesting look.

Big recessed windows and partially covered terraces ensure a very pleasant ambiance inside, preventing the interior spaces from overheating during the summer. These also add lots of depth to the house’s design. Inside the house, each family member gets to enjoy their own space while also having plenty of areas where they can all come together. The ground floor contains the day areas like the living room, dining space, the kitchen and the home office. That leaves the bedrooms and children’s rooms upstairs where they can enjoy plenty of privacy.
