Minimalist black and white interior décor by NORM

In the world of minimalist designs, white seems to be a constant. White interior designs are always elegant and beautiful. Of course, they can get cold and hospital-like but not if you know how to accessorize them. For example, let’s take a look at this beautiful house. It was designed by Danish studio NORM and it’s a typical minimalist interior design.

Notice how all the walls, floor sand ceilings have been painted white and there are no interruptions, no decorations, just plain white elements. In order to add some color contrast, the designers didn’t use real color but black, which is a non-color. The black and white combination is a classic and it’s always beautiful and elegant. As for the decorations, I really like the huge pendants.

The white fuzzy pendant lamp hanging above the dining room table is very beautiful. It’s modern and romantic. The dimensions are impressive and this was exactly the intention. There’s also a very beautiful round black pendant hanging on the hall above the stairs. The furniture is either white, black or grey. The effect is very airy and light interior design. even the art hanging on the wall shares the same colors. The house also features large floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors facing the courtyard and that’s both a source of natural light and color.
