The apartment was designed by Andrey Gorozhankin. It occupies a surface of 80 square meters and its décor is defined by strong contrasts. There’s also a contrast between the vintage and modern furniture used for this project. The contrasts are deliberate and meant to impress and to create focal points. The living area is a large space with dark flooring and white walls. There’s a very well-defined sitting area with a white area rug and a white sectional. It’s very beautiful how the dark color of the floor takes over portions of the walls and how the white covers some of the dark areas.

The living room features a staircase that leads upstairs to the more private zone. On the same level as the living room there’s also a dining area and the two rooms actually share the same space but they gain privacy from the layout and the position of the walls. Notice the unusual shape of the ceiling and the lean curvaceous lines that contrast with the geometry of the décor. It’s also beautiful and refreshing to see rustic accents such as the wooden coffee table that also gave a modern feel.
