Magnificent Australian House Features A Blend Of Styles From Different Eras

When approach by an Australian family with a passion for design seeking to build a new home for themselves on the shores of Bronte, a beachside suburb of Sydney, studio Luigi Rosselli Architects immediately knew this was going to be an amazing project.

They worked closely with their clients to bring their unique vision to life and earlier this year the whole thing was complete. A 150 square meter family home that looks amazing and feels great too.

The house didn’t follow the traditional structure of Australian homes where the living areas are always placed on the ground level. Instead in this case they were put on the upper floor which is a common practice in Europe. This way the social areas were permitted to take full advantage of the magnificent views towards the ocean, to take in the breeze and at the same time to distance themselves from the street and beachside areas.

Another key particularity of this house is the fact that it was meant to look and to feel very organic and to promote a simple and natural lifestyle in harmony with nature.

In order to make that happen the architects included in their design features such as large windows which let in the natural light and the ocean breeze while also exposing the interior spaces to the beautiful views, skylights, shutters with a lovely latticework design, rammed earth walls with a unique texture, iron staircase and balcony railings and also a roof garden.
