The complex uses low energy lighting, non-chemical termite treatment, naturally ventilated public areas and all wastewater goes to grey water system where it’s sued for watering plants and for toilet flushing. Moreover, all the materials used in the construction are local. Craftsmen in Java and Bali are making the interior furniture, lamps and accessories. The landscape also includes only native plants, which are more drought tolerant and that also create a very beautiful local image. All large trees have preserved or transplanted and the site vegetation has been surveyed and documented.

Even more interesting than that is the way the hotel rooms look like. They were designed as inhabited gardens and everything occurs in a garden environment. The terraces roofs were designed using Balinese volcanic Pumice rock, a natural insulating material that also blends beautifully with the landscape. The interior design of the hotel suites and villas is a combination of traditional architecture and modern and dynamic elements. Both the location and the architecture and design are incredibly beautiful and pleasant to watch and enjoy.
