Los Angeles-based interior designer Schuyler Samperton work

I love combining bold colors but I must confess that most of the time I am a little afraid of the result, because not always two beautiful colors sill still look beautiful when put together.  That’s why if you want to paint or decorate your home in daring colors you should probably see a specialist to help you with the chromatics. The result will be amazing and you will not be disappointed at all, as you may see in the next images.

What you see are some pictures taken from an apartment designed by Schuyler Samperton. Some of the rooms are pink, or let’s say fuchsia, while some are turquoise. The best part is the junction room where the two colors combine one with another in a very pleasant way. The dining room is turquoise with brown and gold accents. The turquoise and yellow combination is already a royal one, but what gives style to this room are the details on the walls, dishes and upholster. The walls are covered with a type of turquoise wallpaper which has some elegant and thin birds and flowers on it.

The living room is the fuchsia part of the house. Curtains, ornaments, pillows, chairs and rugs, all have this bold color. And at last, the junction room combines both themes. Because those are some difficult colors, the designer let the walls in white and chose to play with accessories and details, not to charge too much the space. The most remarkable thing about this house is the mixture of thin, rare and surprising materials that the designer combined to create the final touch. Schuyler Samperton used rugs from Austin and pillows from Indonesia.{found on houseofturquoise}.
