Applesauna.
They also renovated the existing hotel building which includes all the public spaces, the reception area as well as the restaurant and the bar. Everything is refreshed and ready to receive new guests. Throughout this entire project the architects looked for ways to bring the nature inside and to create smooth and organic connections with the garden and the beautiful surroundings. The wellness area is the best representation of their success, coming in the form of a green hill with a welcoming and sophisticated interior.
This place stands out in a lot of different ways. It’s not a typical hotel in the sense that it also has a variety of farm-inspired elements which ultimately shape it in a very favorable way. The architects also worked on several other eclectic projects such as a beautiful barn-like retreat in South Tyrol and they used their extensive experience to turn this into a one-of-a-kind hotel with lots and lots of character. They focused a lot of the exterior of the building and the way in which they interact with their surroundings but they also made sure to give them magnificent interiors. They’re pure and simple but at the same time very refined and welcoming. Big window, concrete lamps and a selection of elegant materials make each space look outstanding in a subdued and soothing way.
