Inspiring Amsterdam apartment interior by Laura Alvarez Architecture

This stylish apartment is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and it has been recently renovated. The new interior design was a project by Laura Alvarez Architecture. The two-story apartment is situated in a building considered national monument and doesn’t allow for drastic changes to be made, especially to the façade. The clients, together with the interior designers, decided on a striking renovation that would transform the dark apartment into a bright and inviting home. The designers also wanted to make these changes while also preserving and, more than that, bring attention upon some of the ancient elements of the building that were present in the apartment.

There areas have been turned into one large room that can be split and divided whenever needed. Between these two spaces there’s a bathroom.
