Hybrid white house in Czech Republic

This house has a strange look, especially when seen from the side. It’s a modern residence located in Pardubice-Černá za Bory, Czech Republic and it was designed by Zette Atelier S.R.O.. It was completed in 2007 and it covers an area of 103.0 square meters. The strangeness of the house comes from the fact that it tends to look like a family home but it’s not.

The house as built for a client who wanted a nice retreat where he could spend the night and get away from the daily life from downtown. It’s some sort of a bachelor’s pad but it also comes with a garage. The location is very convenient as the house can be easily reached both by car and by using city transport. It’s a nice and peaceful area with a beautiful forest near-by and it actually seems like a great retreat. It’s a place where the owner can go for some peace and quiet, where he can recharge his batteries and get ready for another busy day.

The house is particularly useful for the client because there’s the possibility of changing jobs and thus having to look for another permanent residence. Until then he can just live here. This house is a hybrid project. It has a simple, rectangular floor plan with a garage on the ground level, an entrance hall, bathroom, a main living area, dining room, kitchenette, even a guest room and a study.
