The Clock House – A Gorgeous Model Of Simple And Sophisticated Design
This is the Clock House, a structure that studio Dado Castello Branco Arquitetura designed and built from scratch as part of their entry in the CASACOR São Paulo exhibition. The project was completed in 2018 and is fully equipped and decorated with a ton of beautiful details. An important aspect which the architects focused on throughout the entire project was the integration between the indoor and the outdoor spaces. They made sure to include large sliding glass doors which open up and connect the ground floor living area to the beautifully landscaped garden.
The interior design is very focused on seamless integration as well. In this case the living space, home office, kitchen, dining area and cellar are all connected. This creates a multifunctional space with a great sense of unity and fluidity throughout. The decor and the ambiance inside the house are casual and welcoming while also maintaining a sophisticated and elegant vibe. The spaces favor natural lighting whenever possible and rely a lot on accent lighting, especially in the case of the private areas positioned upstairs. The colors and the materials are simple and warm which helps to bring out the beauty in all the little details.
