The Milano Scala hotel is located in Milan, Italy. The construction began in 2009 and the hotel was finished in 2010. It’s located in a historic area and it features a beautiful courtyard. The interior design was created by architect Luigi Marchetti CIBIC & Partners. The hotel could be best described as a very refined building with exquisite interior décor.
The interior design is inspired from the opera. There are many references to this domain all over the hotel. There are two entrances. One leads to the hotel’s lobby while the other one leads to the Lounge Bar. The guests can relax at the bar, have a cup of coffee and socialize with the others. They can also enjoy tranquil views to the courtyard or spend time on the living room listening to music.
The hotel comprises a total of 62 rooms. There are 10 suites and junior suites. The rooms are scattered along the seven floors. Some of the rooms have terraces or balconies overlooking the courtyard or the garden. They all have air-conditioning, LCD screens, wi-fi access, a mini bar and a safe. The hotel also offers a top floor Sky Terrace. This rooftop terrace offers spectacular views of the city.
The hotel distinguishes itself from all the other not only by the spectacular interior décor but also by the fact that it’s the first one in Milan to produce energy without burning any fuel and without releasing CO2 into the atmosphere. This is possible thanks to renewable sources of energy that help with the air conditioning, the air treatment and the hot water production. The hotel is also thermally and acoustically insulated and meets the highest standards and regulations.
