HOK’s new office in London

This is the Qube, a building located in London’s Fitzrovia neighborhood, a space where HOK found the perfect spot for their new office. The building offered them a floor space that served as a blank canvas for the firm. The open office plan was perfect for the firm’s collaborative side.

The space includes many flexible rooms and conference areas. A large atrium stays in the middle of the office and it’s sued an area for informal interaction or for larger events. The atrium is also used as a galley, as a space for office gatherings and for themed client events. The office features many large windows that provide natural light thus creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

In order to make the office more dynamic and modern, color has been applied. The result was a bright and colorful space. My favorite part would have to be the internal garden-like area where employees and clients can relax and feel free to be calm but also to have fun. It’s like an oasis in the middle of the desert.

The office has a sustainable design and it has been created under a strict budget. Also, it’s the first UK office to achieve LEED-CI Gold certification. It’s the type of office that has it all, where any person who does boring office work would like to be. No more boredom for those working there!{found on archilovers}
