Henry Muñoz‘s Mestizo Deluxe house

Mestizo Deluxe is a house that Henry Muñoz has designed and created. He is the son of Mexican-American labor organizer known as the Fox and, after attending an exclusive private school in San Antonio he got to become the head of one of this city’s most prominent architectural firms. That’s also when he decided to turn his eclectic experience into something real and started designing Mestizo.

The term Mestizo is defined as a person of mixed heritage and it’s a term that defined both Mr. Muñoz and his creation. The house is a mixture of several different styles. It features both traditional and modern influences as well as Anglo and Latino influences. It’s an impressive 6,000 square foot house and it features a very beautiful interior. Inside, there house has a functional structure with multiple areas. The walls are colorful featuring tones of orange, red and line green and they are covered with about 100 pieces of modern artwork.

There are many eye-catching details inside this house. The dining room features an impressive antique crystal chandelier from Europe. The living room has beautiful white sofas and Anglo modern furniture. These elements are mixed with Mexican antique table and the result is an eclectic image. The kitchen features 1950s white cabinets and lots of brightly colored collectibles such as Mexican dolls, ceramics and candlesticks. Mestizo Deluxe is indeed a unique home.
