Heavenly Residence in Paradise Valley
The Monk’s Shadow Residence is a retreat-like house designed by Kendle Design Collaborative. Located in Paradise Valley, Arizona, this was a challenging project due to the site. The name of the house comes from a geological formation knows as the Praying Monk.
The house occupies 7,400sqf of the plot’s 1.25 acres. It was constructed in two phases. The first one consists of building a two level structure that houses the living area, roof decks, terraces and edge pool. The second phase includes a guest house, garage, workshop and office on two levels with an entry gallery.
The home is designed to breathe and for this the architects used a lot of glass. Another use of the glass is to build a relationship between the in and outdoors and to have splendid views. The interior is modern and, also, a warm and welcoming place to land.
The Monk’s Shadow Residence is a hip place to live in, it has luxurious features and is high on style.
