H 57 Lounge Chair

Herbert Hirche was a german   architect and designer who passed in 2002.He designed furniture, industial products and sohisticated radio and television sets for the Braun Company.A marvelous unique   lounge chair was found in his doughter’s home in Stuttgard which was never seen before.

Conny Hirche still lives there and her home is filled with her  father’s creations.Things designed for famous fairs and which never entered in  production.A real treasure for people passionate about finding hidden creations of famous designers.This particularly low chair was designed in 1956 for the famous fair “ Interbau”.A chair designed in the spirit of Saarinen and Eames, but still an independent design.After seeing this marvelous design a decision was made quickly and now is availiable for the general public in the original green velour fabric with options in grey and dark brown.
