Initially, this patio was more or less just a plain concrete slab with some old outdoor furniture on it. It didn’t look great but it had potential. The new owners took it upon themselves to bring it back to life and to make it look amazing. They added this gorgeous new painted floor which makes the original concrete slab look like a beautiful outdoor rug. It was done with paint and a stencil and it transformed the entire space. But that’s not all. Such a lovely new patio needed some nice furniture. The old chairs were salvaged and repainted and they now have crisp white frames and comfortable new cushions on them. A few additional outdoor chairs were added to complete the patio. There’s also a matching bench and a small table which together make up the sitting area.

A sun shade was added in order to make this area comfortable to be in throughout the day. It’s attached to the existing tree, the house and a pole secured into the ground. There are string lights attached to it which create a whimsical ambiance after sunset. A rattan side table was split in half and turned into two accent tables with a fresh coat of black spray paint for an elegant look. The chimney is also a new addition. It was a second-hand puchase and a fresh coat of heat-resistant paint made it look brand new again. All these things combined make this little patio look absolutely adorable.
