Chalet Mont Blanc can be found in Megève, a town in the French Alps. It’s a beautiful ski retreat with magnificent views and access to the Jaillet piste (ski run). With its inviting interior design, glamorous décor and wonderful location, the chalet attracts visitors from all over the world, being one of the most wonderful holiday destinations during winter.
There are two structures. The main chalet offers a total of four suites while the guest chalet includes an addition two double bedrooms. Other amenities include a playroom for the children, a spacious dining area with panoramic views, a bar and kitchen, a wine cellar as well as an indoor swimming pool.
The social areas feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls, high ceilings and an array of earthy and warm colors combined with soft, comfy textures and glamorous finishes. The main living space is a double-height volume with a low-hanging pendant light also visible from the upper floor.
A spiral staircase made from a combination of metal and glass connects the dining area to the lower and upper volumes.
The lighting fixtures play an important role in the overall design. They feature a variety of designs, shapes and sizes and they’re always eye-catching, serving as focal points for the décor.
A lounge area organized around a fireplace is part of a space that also includes a bar. It’s cozy and inviting and the ambiance is refined and elegant.
The chalet’s wine cellar offers a large array of great wines to choose from which you can enjoy on the heated outdoor lounge area.
Situated on the upper level, the bedrooms are spacious and elegant, with access to their own private balconies and with magnificent views over the mountains. All the wood used in their interior décor makes them particularly cozy although this doesn’t interfere with their sophisticated appeal.
The bathrooms offer a spa-like experience. The marble tubs, the beautiful artwork on the walls, the colors and materials used throughout were specifically chosen to match the overall design of the chalet but also to create a relaxing and soothing atmosphere.
One of the rooms is specifically designed for kids. It’s a sort of shared bedroom and playroom. A raised platform holds the beds which are separated by curtains. The rest of the floor space is covered with poufs and floor pillows. There’s also a TV in the room and a desk/ table.
The chalet also has a home cinema. The room has no windows, very subtle lighting and comfy seats spread along the walls.
The indoor pool features an adjacent lounge area as well as a gym. And if thought this area is amazing, then you’ll also enjoy the outdoor pool which is overlooking the resort and the mountains.
