When you see the interior décor creates by a designer, it all seems to look so good and well put together, That’s the finished product. The process seems so simple and still, you couldn’t do it by yourself. And then you start to wonder how the designer’s home looks like. You probably imagine something over the top. You might be surprised to see that it’s not always true.
This house belongs to interior designer Erin Paige Pitts. It’s located on Gibson Island off the western shore of Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, We’re here just to take a peak at the interior décor and to see how a designer decorates its own home. The first things that you notice there are the all-white walls. They make the whole place seem bigger and it also creates an airy and fresh atmosphere. Moreover, the contrasting dark floors create a very beautiful combination.
So, as you can see, it’s a really simple home. Most of the rooms are white, combined with brown and very beautiful splashes of blue used for items like the pendant or the decorative cushions for example. The family room is a little different. It can been decorative in a sunny beach theme using tones of beige, brown and again blue. It seems very cozy and inviting, not to mention that the fireplace is an exquisite addition.
