The house was manufactured in the US by Lindal Cedar Homes, a Seattle-based company. They calculated the size of the various timber elements and everything was then shipped to the UK. The package contained everything including detailed specifications. Putting the house together was not a very difficult project. It was assembled on-site and it remained there. Besides the interesting design, the house is also energy-efficient.
