Dream attic crib in Stockholm

Nothing compares to the houses where you can find the combinations of old, revamped details and modern space and which plan solutions enhanced by contemporary accents. The attic crib in the picture occupies the top second floor of an older building; it is a bright residential space that used to be a two-story attic before being transformed into a light-flooded relaxation shell. Among the relaxing spots of this space there are the inviting terrace overlooking the city’s rooftops, the cozy bedroom and the dining room staircase.

The outdoor space is accessible through the sliding glass walls straight from the living space and creating a strong connection to the open, breezy interiors. This Stockholm apartment has dark flooring on the terrace, which matches the rooftop, while the interior charming details (the fireplace by the floor-to-ceiling bookcase, the minimalist kitchen design) create a pleasant environment, with a personal touch. The sculptural staircase in the kitchen / dining area leads us to the upstairs living space, but there is  another set of decorative stairs also,  leading to an attic bedroom.

The entire environment is an example of beauty and freshness and the charming design makes the difference. Every room is wide open; every corner is cozy and every detail is significant. The warm shades, just like the natural light that enters this space create a  generally inviting atmosphere; the whiteness of the walls make everything even more spacious and inviting and the perspective over Stockholm rooftops and over the sky is more than attractive.{found on skeppsholmen}.
