Beautiful Beachfront House Among The Palm Trees

This beautiful beachfront property in Costa Rica features not just one but two amazing houses. They were designed and built in 2018 by studio LSD Architects and they’re surrounded by trees and lush vegetation. One of the houses called Casa Sare has a V-shaped floor plan and sits on the flattest section of the site while the other (Casa Caracali) occupies and higher ground which allows it to offer the best views towards the Pacific Ocean and the nearby beach, Playa Hermosa.

A backyard swimming pool fits in the area between the two houses, filling a void and making the most of the unusual floor plans and overall distribution of the structures. Around 65 % of the interior areas have green roofs overhead and that’s one of the aspects which allow this project to enjoy a close relationship with their surroundings and with nature in general. On top of that, the houses were built to withstand the tropical weather and to be low-maintenance. They blend in with their surroundings and they welcome the outdoors inside through large windows and sliding glass doors.
